Rosa's Cantina in El Paso, Texas is the quintessential bar most think of when they think of Western saloon. There's only one problem...it ain't no Western Saloon.
Rosa's Cantina is a neighborhood bar made famous--or perhaps notorious--by Marty Robbins and his song, El Paso.
But before it was mentioned by Robbins, this place served the people living and working in Smeltertown, the small suburb of El Paso where all of the copper and metal smelters were located in the area.
This is a quiet place with proud regulars, cheap beer and a ton of history. Hope you can make it.
