The hosts of Drunken History are Clint and Derek.

Avid travelers, they came up with the idea of Drunken History after booking a trip to New York. Clint noticed that the first thing they both did was hit the internet to find out about taverns and pubs close to where they were staying. Frustrated that there wasn't a central resource for bars as destinations (not just side trips), they decided to produce their own show about the many historical bars dotting the United States.

About Drunken History

Drunken History is a travel-based web resource that presents historical bars around the United States as destinations. We feature 7-10 minute videos, photo galleries and travel logs of historical and significant bars, taverns, saloons, cantinas or pubs in the remote countryside or large cities of America.

Through interviews and onsite shooting (and a fair amount of drinking), we hope to bring viewers a sense of why so many of the places they might drink at everyday are so important to our culture and history.

We also give potential travelers resources about how to get to these destinations and information they need to visit.

Historical, out of the way, hidden, unique places are what get their attention. They will never ever ever ever visit a nightclub because they know that when the end comes, nightclubs will be burned to the ground first, and they don't want to be there when it happens (unless they can film it, 'cause it's bound to be funny as hell).
